Jose Rivera - Corporate Director of the Physician & Professional Services Central Business Office - Orlando Health

I started my career in professional revenue cycle management in 1992. Today I am a proud team member of Orlando Health and am the Corporate Director of the Physician & Professional Services Central Business Office. We manage the revenue cycle for 23 [multispecialty] departments (faculty and non-faculty) which include 200+ employed physicians. We fully implemented GE Centricity Business in July 2007 and currently use Centricity Business Informatics for business intelligence, dashboard, analytics, and report writing.
We compile and share ‘decision making’ data via the Access Centers and their Dashboard Views, Charts, Analyses and Worksheet functions of Informatics. Rather than printing reports we export compiled data in myriad formats through the system scheduler. Information is truly at our fingers tips and each day as I’m having my first cup of coffee I can monitor the daily activity of all the areas of our business. The system truly has changed the way we do business for the better and we rely on it more each day.
The teams at GE Healthcare and Precision.BI LLC have been tremendous in working with us to make the product as valuable as possible. As a matter of fact we are so pleased with the entire process that we will be speaking about the results at the GE Summit in August.
"Jose and team have done a great job implementing Informatics", states Ed Bereski, co-founder of Precision.BI LLC," so much so that both the GE and PBI teams have asked his team to demo their finished Access Center to us, which is a first."

Randy D Mohr, Manager of Decision Support UNMC PHYSICIANS
UNMC Physicians has more than 500 doctors and 650 employees making us the largest physician group in the region. Our partnership with the University of Nebraska Medical Center ensures that our physicians not only treat patients, but they teach future physicians also. Precision.BI LLC has given us the ability to provide reliable and timely information to management. This knowledge helps them to make educated decisions in order to accomplish their goals. The information is used for business planning, tracking physician productivity, and assessing revenue cycle patterns.
The experts at Precision.BI LLC are very knowledgeable in helping us in developing our Access Center Dashboards and Analysis Reports that we distribute. Without Precision.BI our IT department would be inundated with requests making management’s ability to react to trends almost non-existent. In today’s environment of dwindling revenue it’s hard to imagine how any physician practice can plan for the future without a business intelligence product. Precision.BI does this for us.
"The current team has really advanced the use of PBI at UNMC. They are filled with ideas and enthusiasm and make for an ideal working relationship", states Ed Bereski, co-founder of Precision.BI LLC.

"Working with a great partner like PBI, we were able to quickly implement changes to our business systems which resulted in better data at our fingertips leading to better business decisions. This type of flexibility starts with an adaptable system and quickly engaging a team of experts so our organization can respond to the rapid changing environment,"states Jeff Jenkins, Director of Finance-UMPhysicians.
